    How can I contact the Tarzana Neighborhood Council?

    When does the neighborhood council meet?
    TNC meets the 4th Tuesday of each month at Tarzana Elementary School at 5726 Topeka Drive in Tarzana. The meetings start at 7:00 pm and are open to the public.

    Where can I get a copy of the meeting agenda?
    Agendas are available on this website for each committee and are posted under the "Minutes & Agenda Archives" section under "Links" in the menu bar above. They are also available in various locations around town, including     (click on each for a mapquest link):

    May I become a member of the Board of Governors?
    Any stakeholder who is 18 years of age at the time of the election can run for an open position on the Board.

    What is a stakeholder?
    Any person who lives, works or owns property is a stakeholder. Stakeholders who are 18 years of age are eligible to vote and to be a member of Board.

    I am interested in serving on a committee. Must I be a Board member?
    No, any stakeholder can request to be a member of a committee. The chair of the committee decides on the committee membership.

    Is the neighborhood council the same as the Tarzana Cultural Center at Ventura and Vanalden?
    No, the TNC and the TCCC are separate, although the TNC has helped develop the corner by building things such as the handicap ramp. The TCCC was purchased and is run by donations from the community.

    Who is my city council person and how do I contact them?
    Tarzana is in the 3rd Council District and your City Councilmember is Dennis Zine. His Valley office is located at 19040 Vanowen Street in Reseda. His phone number is 818-756-8848.
