  • Q. May I become a member of the Board of Governors?

    Any stakeholder who is 18 years of age at the time of the election can run for an open position on the Board.
  • Q. I am interested in serving on a committee. Must I be a Board member?

    No, any stakeholder can request to be a member of a committee. The chair of the committee decides on the committee membership.
  • Q. How can I contact the Tarzana Neighborhood Council?

  • Q. When does the neighborhood council meet?

    TNC General Board Meetings are regularly scheduled for the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7pm at Tarzana Park Childcare Center located at 5700 Beckford Ave. in Tarzana, unless otherwise noted on the calendar and posted agenda.
  • Q. What is a stakeholder?

    Any person who lives, works or owns property in Tarzana and any individual who claims a stake and affirms the factual basis for it is a stakeholder. Stakeholders who are 18 years of age are eligible to vote and to be a member of Board.
  • Q. Is the neighborhood council the same as the Tarzana Cultural Center at Ventura and Vanalden?

    No, the TNC and the TCCC are separate, although the TNC has helped develop the corner by building things such as the handicap ramp. The TCCC was purchased and is run by donations from the community.
  • Q. Who is my city council person and how do I contact them?

    Tarzana is in the 3rd Council District and your City Councilmember is Bob Blumenfield. His Valley office is located at 19040 Vanowen Street in Reseda. His phone number is 818-756-8848.
