Esther Wieder

I have been a part of the Tarzana community since 1995. I moved to California 31 years ago from Israel and Tarzana is the place my family and I call home. I pride myself on being an active member of my community and encourage my family, friends, and Tarzana neighbors to do the same. I am a member of the Tarzana Neighborhood Council, and the Events Committee Chair and Outreach Committee Co-Chair. As an Outreach Chair I have helped organize the annual Earth Day Celebrations and poster contests in Tarzana that includes our Elementary, Middle, and High School students. I am also responsible for volunteering activities and events that encourage our younger generation to give back to their community. Beyond my Tarzana Neighborhood Council positions, I am an employee for the Los Angeles Unified School District and I have worked at Tarzana Elementary School for the last 15 years as an administrative assistant. The Tarzana community is a big part of who I am and I am proud to be a North Area representative for the Tarzana Neighborhood Council.
