Community Announcements Chief Bratton Opposes Zine’s Motion re: Special Order 40 LAPD Chief William Bratton voiced his opposition to L.A. City Councilman Dennis Zine’s motion to require officers to check on the immigration status of gang members who are suspected of being in the country illegally. Bratton stated that most people, including some officers, do not completely understand Special Order 40 and he plans to clarify the rule. |
