From baseball to surfing, our leagues and clinics offer a fantastic opportunity for children to learn new skills, make friends, and stay active in a fun and supportive environment.
Here are highlights from some of our many PlayLA Spring Sports offerings:
PlayLA baseball teaches teamwork, coordination, and strategic thinking while promoting essential social skills and a lifelong love for the sport.
Girls Play Los Angeles (GPLA) softball teaches young girls fundamental skills with an emphasis on teamwork and sportsmanship, coaches guiding them to improve throwing, catching, and hitting, fostering leadership and friendships through regular gameplay and practice sessions.
PlayLA Learn to Kayak teaches youth basic kayaking skills, including kayak parts, launching, navigation, safety, and paddling in open water, promoting outdoor exploration and lifelong recreation in otherwise unreachable places. Perfect for those kids who love adventure!
Adaptive Swimming makes a splash with fundamental skills for youth with disabilities, improving motor skills, coordination, and cardiovascular health, all while having a "fin-tastic" time and building confidence and balance through strokes like crawl, backstroke, butterfly, and breaststroke.
